Auto insurance competition would exclude socioeconomic factors
BOSTON State Insurance Commissioner Nonnie Burnes on Tuesday proposed opening the Massachusetts auto insurance market to competition, but said she would ban insurers from considering such socioeconomic factors as education and income.
